GCoop is the marketing and distribution branch for General Bio Corporation.
General Bio was founded in 2007 as an R&D manufacturing company for health, cosmetics, and personal products. It was founded under CEO Jeong Hun Seo. 2015 marked the year when General Bio received B-Corp Certification. What is the importance of being certified as a B-Corporation? First of all it gives validity to the company in that it actually does what it says.

When a company passes with a score of 80 and above, it receives its B-Corp Certification. Certified B Corporations meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Over 2650 companies are registered as a B-Corp and such companies affirm that people are using business as a force for good.

GCoop hopes to resolve social problems and issues through creation of good social values, economic well-being and a sound network culture.
Out of 200 people who are employed with General Bio, over 30% of the employers have severe mental disabilities while 65% are from socially disadvantaged groups. General Bio has given much to local charities and continue to further help the surrounding communities.
